Evaluating a patient with flank pain with history of UTIs

Learning Objectives:
1. How to interpret renal curves in renal diuresis renography.
2. Learn the advantage of utilizing MAG3 in renography.

History:
52-year-old female with symptoms flank pain that is worse on the right side, hematuria and a urinary tract infection.

Technique:
Scintigraphic images of the renal beds were obtained in the posterior projection following intravenous administration of 5.0 mCi Tc99m Mertiatide (MAG3).
